Organizations and their employees can often realise tremendous
benefits from tried-and true assessment tools. The Blueprint
Group administers and analyzes the results of many such tools,
a sampling of which are outlined below.
Organizational Development
The Organizational Culture
Inventory® measures twelve styles that
individuals believe are required to 'fit in' to the organization.
These commonly-held beliefs affect such outcomes as turnover,
employee satisfaction and the organization's ability to provide
quality customer service. There are two measurement tools:
1) the OCI, which measures the actual or current culture and
2) the OCI Ideal, which measures what people think would be the ideal culture.
The Organizational Effectiveness
Inventory® measures the cause and effect
of culture. The OEI indicates the Levers for Change which
have caused the culture to be what it is and the outcomes
or results of that culture.

Team Development
Team Development
The Group Styles Inventory®
measures the styles teams use in their meetings. The Group
Styles Inventory can be combined with a simulation to enhance
learning in a workshop setting or as an effective assessment
of an actual problem-solving session. Whether used by intact
groups or ad hoc teams, the Group Styles Inventory® provides
valuable feedback individuals and teams can use to improve
their group problem solving skills.
The Group Styles Inventory® is best
used with survival and business themed simulations that demonstrate
the importance of working together to produce high quality
decisions.

Self and Leadership Development
The EQ in Action Profile
is a unique, powerful emotional intelligence instrument based
on developmental psychology, interpersonal neuropsychology,
and neurophysiology theory, plus years of clinical, educational,
consulting and training work. The EQ In-Action Profile provides
individuals with a profile of their basic internalized relational
map, developed through life experience from infancy to this
moment. The report profiles an individual's relationship strategies
in different difficult contexts and measures these core leadership
and interpersonal competencies:
- Self-reflection
- Self-soothing or self-regulation
- Empathy
The EQ In-Action Profile is used as part of a highly focused
coaching process for individuals who want to gain self-awareness
and gain awareness of how they relate to others in effective
or non-effective ways. This focused coaching process is for
anyone who works with others and whose professional or life
success is heavily impacted by the quality of their relationships.
This is particularly valuable for leaders, managers, supervisors,
consultants or internal staff who rely heavily on effective
influence rather than having direct authority over others.
Leadership Impact®
is a powerful tool measuring the impact of leaders on organizational
performance. Specifically, it measures the extent to which
a leader personally acts in prescriptive versus restrictive
ways, the extent to which the leader motivates and drives
people to behave in constructive versus defensive ways, and
current performance using both personal and organizational
criteria.
The LSI1® (Life Styles
Inventory) is a self-development tool designed
to increase personal understanding of individual thinking
behaviour. The LSI1® is based on a combination of respected
psychological and measurement theories. It measures the thoughts
and attitudes which motivate behaviour, how individuals relate
to others, as well as how they solve problems and make decisions.
The LSI 360°®
was developed to enable members of an organization to harness
the power of feedback and use it to enhance performance improvement
time. With LSI 360°®, participants receive specific,
constructive feedback on the implications of their behaviour
from trusted associates. The report then combines this feedback
with information about how an individual perceives him /herself,
providing an accurate description of personal strengths as
well as potential development needs.

The Stress Profile
quickly identifies individual characteristics and behaviors
that protect against or contribute to stress. The Stress Profile
is usually used within organizational settings as part of
wellness, stress management, and health promotion programs.
Because it is quick and easy to administer, the Stress Profile
is ideal for routine use in organizations, outpatient clinics,
hospitals, and medical practices. The Stress Profile measures
15 different stress-related health risks in the following
areas:
- Overall Stress
- Health Habits
- Social Support Network
- Type A Behavior
- Cognitive Hardiness
- Coping Style
- Psychological Well-Being
